Located in beautiful Spring Bay, Illinois, Sankoty Lakes is the vision of a Midwestern family who grew up playing, fishing, swimming, and causing the best kind of trouble in the lakes and on the banks of the Illinois River. From childhood to adulthood, these experiences shaped the life of Kim Blickenstaff, Founder and Chairman of KDB Group, and kept them outside no matter the season, heading inside only to eat, sleep, and clean off all the mud to make room for more.
Sankoty Lakes is a true, Illinois outdoor adventure playground. We invite you, your friends and family to not ‘rough it’ but enjoy an adventure unlike any you may have experienced before.

Does Sankoty Lakes have a Resort Fee?
Yes, Sankoty Lakes has a seasonal Resort Fee of $25 per room per night for Glamping Tent and Cabin reservations from April – October. The Resort Fee includes the following amenities:
- High-speed Wi-Fi
- Fly rods & tackle to use on the private Trout Stream.*
*Fly rods and tackle are on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.
There is no Resort Fee for RV or 1840 Ranch reservations.
